Mitch Jones
Neurological Physiotherapist
Mitch graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice in 2019.
Since then he’s worked at Cabrini Health and Mercy Health in various acute and rehabilitation
roles. Mitch also lived and worked for three years in Manchester in the United Kingdom where
he took roles in stroke rehabilitation and oncology. Mitch’s special interest areas are working
with individuals recovering from stroke or living with Parkinson’s disease. Mitch’s passion is for
setting big, meaningful goals with patients and working towards them collaboratively with an
evidence-based and patient-centred approach.
Mitch’s passion for neurological physiotherapy came from experiencing his Pop battle
Parkinson’s disease and wanting to help others in a similar situation to get the most out of their
lives.
Mitch also has a broad range of experience volunteering in the community in Melbourne and the
UK in programs such as youth camps, soup kitchens, english language conversation classes
and call companionship. He strongly believes in the importance of community and helping
those in need.
In Mitch’s spare time he’s at home trying to grow the juiciest tomato in Melbourne. He also
enjoys being out in nature hiking or camping and going to the footy.
