Lara Miller
Senior Neurological Physiotherapist
Lara graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Northumbria University, England in 2007 and has worked exclusively in neurological rehabilitation throughout her career. She began in specialist neuro-rehabilitation and community services supporting people living with stroke, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury, before working within the National Health Service as part of a community stroke team and in acute hospital rotations.
After moving to Melbourne in 2014, Lara worked as a Team Leader providing community physiotherapy before joining Klint. She has undertaken extensive professional development in neurological physiotherapy, including PD Warrior instructor training and training in the Bobath Concept.
Lara has a specialist focus in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), helping people retrain movement and regain confidence through evidence-based rehabilitation. She is passionate about the brain’s ability to change and adapt, and sees every day that even in progressive neurological conditions meaningful improvements can be made; this is the power of neuroplasticity.
Outside of work, Lara enjoys getting out into nature with her family and spending time outdoors.
