Following graduation from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Ashlee gained experience in the acute and community settings with adults and children, and also spent time rehabilitating patients in the hydrotherapy pool. She has had a longstanding passion for neurological physiotherapy in both the paediatric and adult settings, and has a yearning for helping others achieve their goals. Ashlee has a strong desire to continue to broaden her knowledge and develop her clinical skills through postgraduate study and attending regular courses to ensure she remains up to date with the best evidence-based practice.

Ashlee has also spent multiple years working closely with families with disabilities through the provision of respite care and physiotherapy. This has provided her with the knowledge required to ensure a holistic approach to treatment is undertaken, ensuring best quality of life is achieved. As well as this, Ashlee has experience supervising students, which has provided her with a strong foundation in teaching and supporting others. Ashlee puts a strong emphasis on the importance of adequate goal setting with her clients, and strives to work closely with them to ensure that both short and long term goals are achieved. She aims to enhance client’s functional independence, and implement change in a way that will ensure long-term progress is maintained.

In her spare time, Ashlee likes to remain active by visiting the gym and enjoys spending quality time with friends, exploring and trying new things.
