Senior Neurological Physiotherapist
Emma graduated from Brunel University (London) in 2013. After which, Emma gained experience as a Junior Physiotherapist at Northwick Park Hospital, London, in neurological, cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal conditions, and found her passion within neurology. Emma relocated from London to work as a Senior Neurological Physiotherapist, progressing to Clinical Specialist and Team Lead in a team specialising in intensive neurological rehabilitation in the community.
Emma is motivated by helping people regain confidence and independence. She is holistic in her approach and enjoys thinking creatively and working collaboratively with her clients to overcome challenges, achieve meaningful goals and improve quality of life. She strives to make rehabilitation engaging and relevant, while ensuring her practice remains grounded in the latest evidence-based approaches.
Alongside her clinical work, Emma values supporting the development of others. She served on the committee for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology, contributing to regional education initiatives. She has also assisted in teaching the Vestibular Rehabilitation module at University of Southampton (UK), reflecting her ongoing commitment to learning and sharing knowledge within her specialist field.
Outside of work, Emma loves to spend time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors and attending live music events.
